The Round Dam Trend, located 3km west of the Davyhurst processing plant, is a 17 km gold mineralised trend from Waihi Deposit in the North to Salmon Gums deposit in the south. Historically the trend has been Open pit mined at Waihi, Lady Eileen, Federal Flag and Walhalla with a current gold endowment of over 500koz.

Waihi

Waihi is located at the most northern extent of the Round Dam trend and was mined by previous holders for a total production of 770k tonnes @ 3.02g/t for 75,000 ounces.

In 2025 a significant resource development and exploration drill program commenced at Waihi, which was designed to target high-grade shoots beneath the historical open pits as well as strike extensions and new exploration targets.

Drilling has been highly successful in expanding the mineralised envelope with the intercepts of 6.0m @ 21.1g/t, 3.9m @ 29.5 g/t and 7.0m @ 14.5g/t to a depth of 350 metres below surface and demonstrating the high-grade potential within the envelope.

Drilling is ongoing at Waihi with intersected down-dip and parallel lodes proving potential as a third underground.

Federal Flag to Salmon Gums

Further south along the Round Dam trend recent mapping has created a new geological and mineralisation model unlocking further areas of previously unexplored and developed mineralised zones. Ora Banda has identified up to six subparallel gold lodes along this trend, revealing a new search window previously unrecognised from historical drilling. The known gold mineralisation currently remains open at depth and along strike, both of which will be the subject for further exploration with intercepts of 8.0m @ 20.6g/t, 5.0m @ 11.0 g/t and 2.0m @ 32.4 g/t.

The company is systematically exploring the open pit potential along a 7 kilometre section of the trend running from Federal Flag in the north to Salmon Gums in the south.
